Sustainable Rural Community Development Organisation Malawi (SURCOD) is newly formed Organisation which was registered under Companies act of Malawi1984 section 15 as a Company Limited by guarantee and our registration no is 10522. SURCOD was registered on 17 May, 2010 VISION The vision of SURCOD is a community that is empowered to advance rural initiatives to access basic needs which can improve livelihoods, self reliance as well as community participation towards development MISSION STATEMENT The mission of SURCOD is to facilitate development based on self-dependency and self sufficiency of the rural people through effective implementation, promotion and support of intergrated rural development projects with full participation, ownership and empowerment for beneficiaries through promotion of rights based approaches GOAL Our goal is to promote sustainable intergrated community development through improving food security, house hold incomes, access to social services, water and sanitation and conservation of environment |
